Our teachers never stop learning

Steamboat Mountain School faculty member Nikki Durkan had the experience of a lifetime when she boarded NOAA Ship Oscar Dyson and spent 2 weeks at sea helping scientists conduct a Pollock survey in the Bering Sea this past summer. Ms. Durkan, a science teacher, plans to incorporate this experience into her lessons to better engage her students in marine science. Steamboat Mountain School will post excerpts from her blogs soon.
