Steamboat Mountain School students and faculty give back to the community

As part of orientation, students and faculty gave back to greater Steamboat Springs Community by spending a day doing service work for agencies including: The City Parks and Rec Program, The Boys and Girls Club of Steamboat Springs, Yampatika, The Nature Conservancy, Yampa River State Park, and Perry Mansfield. They enthusiastically tackled tasks such as gardening, planting, cleaning, painting, and splitting firewood. Collectively, they worked 450 hours and were thrilled to see the immediate results of their hard work.
